Leap of faith for cars and vehicle electronics

So I bought them in faith, hoping they weren't junk. I was happy to find out that wasn't the case. However, the description is not very good. 70W RMS PEAK POWER. RMS is around 20-70 watts so I figured they were more powerful than they turned out to be. They are powered by a 4-channel Crunch Power Zone PZA900.4 115 x 4 @ 4 OHMS, 225 x 4 @ 2 OHMS - 450 x 2 @ 4 OHMS amplifier with illuminated plaque and Sony head unit. You sound great. Highs are good, mids are ok. I was expecting a bit more bass from a number of components, but I have two 8" subwoofers so I don't care. And if you match them with the head unit, they sound good. My car isn't very good for speakers either. 1.FIT: I have found that they do not fit the standard 6 1/2 inch space. I had to make a custom stand. You can buy similar items but I would rather make a perfect fit. I also have to make sure they don't hit the window because they are deeper than I thought they would be as well. so I used a 3/4" MDS and made it based on what I already had, which I thought was the standard shape. 2. CHANGEOVER: There is no equipment or RF amplifiers on the crossovers. The crossovers are very small and rudimentary. I looked for another set of crossovers after the sale but they are quite expensive. The crossovers fit in my doors on the back and side of the speakers. 3. WIRE: The wiring is quite strange. The insulation of the wires is very soft .I wasn't impressed.I didn't need any tools to remove the insulation to strip the wires.I used my nails. So if you really want you can open up the crossover and swap out the wires with other better wires that I have didn't. They can be flush or surface mount. I chose to surface mount because I didn't want to cut holes in my doors They Just Sound Good Highs can be overkill at times, but a pain In most cases they sound great with a little tweaking of the settings. without distortion. I gave them a leap of faith because they were very cheap for the components. I think I bought them for about 39. I do not remember. I don't regret my purchase, I recommend them to people on a budget. I listen to all kinds of music: rock, country, classical, pop, books on cassette, techno, barbershop, they all sound good on these speakers. This is a company from England so you may not have heard of them in the US.
