I think they might be good for travel, didn't think about it. I use it to store my winter clothes (I'm in Florida so won't need it until the winter cold front hits) and I was able to fit a few bulky items in there. It only took 4 second largest size bags to fit my husband's and husband's winter clothes. There are also huge pockets that will likely fit several blankets. They also easily suck out all the air with the tool provided. Definitely recommend them. I will be using some of the smaller ones to organize, store and share my toddler's baby clothes for his little brother in December. Very happy with this purchase and it has been the greatest return on these suction packs!
