Hasn’t broken off, so that’s a great start to a review, especially since my dad borrows it too. I can absolutely see how these don’t give you much leeway when it comes to over tightening them. Not suggesting that you don’t toque them to proper specs, but if you try to "feel it out,” be careful if you ate spinach before. They use very soft metal. It’s mounted to a 29er hardtail that is used weekly, and it hasn’t lost the ability to secure the fork and keep the handlebars from moving. I’m slowly gaining a full piece of mind while riding It.
