These sandals are good shoes. They are simple in design and fit my height 11ft well. The soles are stiff and have little give, so they're not soft on your feet, but the straps are fairly flexible when you put them on, allowing for a comfortable fit. There is a slight extension at the front to protect your toes from impact. They would be good for everyday use - not sure I would recommend them for a long walk.
