Tailgate did not close properly when closed, rebounded and then closed on 2nd impact. so i thought something is wrong. The other day it didn't open but did 1 time later in the day. Google got 300+ from the dealer for repairs so ordered it, watched the youtube video and got it done in about 20 minutes. Removing the inner plastic cover of the tailgate was the trickiest part. but I pulled it out with a couple of mini flatheads, bent it, and put it back on. 90% good as always. the power cable clamps came loose slightly (lucky) 3 torx screws were tight, easily insert the new one with 2 screws, plug the connectors back in and test, VERY quick, seems better than the original. Everything locked again and works great. I'll update if there are problems later, but very basic. Good luck with these clips!
