An extra pair of mittens is great!

My 5 year old grandson loves to wear them and I love that there are two pairs of gloves! To play in the snow, I put on a pair and then wrap his Wrap hands with plastic wrap (plastic sandwich bags work with smaller sizes, which come with mittens instead of gloves). Then I put a second pair on over the plastic and his hands stay dry. If you live in a cold climate, your hat probably needs a different hat or hood. We live in the south so it's not bad per se as it has ear flaps.
