Review on Lustro Italiano Etch Remover 8 Ounce by Kristi Winters

This caustic remover is amazing! I had a dull area on a Piedrafina marble countertop after using the Diamond Pad to remove scratches. The pad caused more scratches and did nothing to my countertop. I used this stain remover and was amazed at how shiny my countertop got. It really didn't take much effort. After cleaning part of the table top, I stood back and looked at the rest and it didn't compare. So I ended up using it on the rest of the counter and now it has a great shine. I love this product so much I've bought another one in case I run out of the first one! Here's how I used it: 1) I wiped down the countertop. 2) I poured some mixture directly onto the countertop and added a few drops of water. 3) I took a sponge (the one for the dishes) and started treating the dull spot in circular motions (2-3 minutes) 4) I wiped the countertop and removed the mixture 5) Rinse the countertop with water and towel dry 6) Use a marble cleaner/sealer to spray onto the countertop to seal in the shine. 7) Used a towel to dry the countertop 8) Used a 6" Ryobi Buffer/Polisher ($24 at Home Depot) to buff the countertop for a deeper shine! Hope this helps anyone who has watermarks, want to remove etch marks, dull areas and stains from their countertops!
