I believe: stone polish and cleaner

My white marble bathroom vanity has been neglected for years. Lots of puddles of water, lotion spills and my girlfriend's makeup without reapplying sealant resulted in lots of etched stains and general haze over most of the vanity. A subcontractor at my local stone shop even said that there was nothing you could do to remove the stains and that you should simply apply a sealer to prevent new stains from forming or simply replace the vanity top. I thought it was worth a try for the money and I'm

My Marble Sink Saved!

In an attempt to remove heavy limescale build up around sink faucets I used lemon juice thinking it would be a good natural way to remove calcium. NO! To my surprise, a few hours later, the marble countertop was badly etched, dull, and stained wherever the lemon juice had touched it. I tried some products from the hardware store that didn't work. I found this product at Revain and decided to give it a try. I bought a cheap orbital sander ($13) from Harbor Freight and about 400 and 1200 grit wet

I would recommend trying a different product for better results.

I have white cultured marble and was stained from hand soap (even after purchasing neutral PH soap) and water. I have tried this product but with mixed results. First, it's not easy to use. It's a little messy with the abrasive grit to make sure it stays "wet" (not sure how far it should be) and then clean up the residue afterwards. I've spent quite a bit of time trying different methods with this product and sometimes the etch marks are 80% gone, sometimes 40%. These results are not worth…

Hard work but it saved my marble floor

Made the mistake of rinsing my dog in a very mild (10%) vinegar solution after bathing. When he came out and shook his hair out on my marble floor, it never occurred to me that this mild solution would attack the floor. Surprise! It was completely rusted where all the countless drops fell. I called a marble restoration company and they offered me $600 for my small bathroom. Then I found it on the web. Good news, this has removed most of the etching and my floor is shiny again. The bad news is…

Great product for polishing and cleaning stone surfaces

Okay, this product works wonders. I moved into an apartment with a marble floor. I knew nothing about marble floors when I moved in, so I didn't see any etching marks on the floor and didn't tell the owner when I viewed it. A few weeks after moving in, my cat vomited in the back corner of the house and I didn't have time to clean it up fast enough. After wiping, a cloudy stain was present in the form of spatter. After some research, I found that these were etch marks from acidic cat vomit. I…

Amazing shine! Works on Piedrafina marble!

This caustic remover is amazing! I had a dull area on a Piedrafina marble countertop after using the Diamond Pad to remove scratches. The pad caused more scratches and did nothing to my countertop. I used this stain remover and was amazed at how shiny my countertop got. It really didn't take much effort. After cleaning part of the table top, I stood back and looked at the rest and it didn't compare. So I ended up using it on the rest of the counter and now it has a great shine. I love this…

Miracle kitchen cleaner remover

I would like a before photo but I have 3 young children and 1 sloppy husband. Before I knew that marble stains so easily, I bought a marble table, thinking it would be the most durable in my situation. Unfortunately for the first week we had water and juice stains and almost the entire table looked pretty dull. I first used a leading brand that didn't have a cleaning remover. It was a pour, dry and scrape method. It did nothing for the acid stains and removed about 30 percent of the water…
