Review on Lustro Italiano Etch Remover 8 Ounce by Vijin Wisniewski

I have white cultured marble and was stained from hand soap (even after purchasing neutral PH soap) and water. I have tried this product but with mixed results. First, it's not easy to use. It's a little messy with the abrasive grit to make sure it stays "wet" (not sure how far it should be) and then clean up the residue afterwards. I've spent quite a bit of time trying different methods with this product and sometimes the etch marks are 80% gone, sometimes 40%. These results are not worth spending so much time on. My cleaning lady has also used it (she is less meticulous about her use as she tries to clean the whole house) and the results are much worse. Ultimately you have 4 possibilities: the surface looks scratchy because the abrasive wasn't wet enough, the surface is cloudy because the chemical residues weren't completely removed, the etch marks remain, or the etch marks are almost completely gone but you can tell at little where they were. Etching marks were present. I would recommend trying a different product.
