The filter is of acceptable construction. As mentioned in other reviews, there is no alignment tab. No problem as the seat in the water box is very tight. The installation requires a lot of effort. The biggest problem I had was getting the top back onto the filter housing. I'm not entirely sure, but I suspect it was due to the overall length of the new device being too long compared to the OEM. Took me about five times longer than it should have. I even reinstalled the old one to make sure I got it right. In any case, I would not buy this filter again. Would happily pay a little more for the right size, tab and ease of installation.
