Low price mediocre quality

This was the first projector ceiling mount I have bought or installed so I had no comparison at first. It was absurdly difficult to assemble, a little wobbly with vibration and required regular readjustment, but overall it fit me quite well (especially for the price). However, after about a year I decided to switch to the BenQ CM00G3 Universal. The ceiling mount and I were blown away by its ease of use and build quality. I'm a pretty capable guy, but it took me a few hours to get the Mount-It model right after messing around with all the weird ports and settings. The BenQ lasted about 30 minutes, looks better, is much easier to align and adjust, and best of all, it doesn't budge when it vibrates or needs constant readjustment. The design of the brackets that attach to the projector is almost the same on both models, so almost any projector will fit on any bracket (Epson 2045 for me). I'll admit that this is kind of an unconventional review, just inspired by a better (more expensive) model, and comparing it to something that costs three times as much might not be fair. But when you break down the amount of money you're spending on a projector, screen and accessories, not to mention setup time and future headaches, the relatively small amount of extra money spent on a better mount like the BenQ seems like too much be. more attractive.
