I bought these to replace the license plate bulbs in my sister's 2003 Chevy Tahoe. They work perfectly and emit bright white light. I've only tried two bulbs, but both worked great. Some reviews of LED bulbs speak of the need to observe correct polarity, so for fun I tried changing the bulb in the socket and it certainly worked as listed. Buy these lightbulbs. They work great. If they really only use 1.5 watts, they are very efficient. $5 for ten bulbs, what a bargain!
