Review on Honeywell Belmar 52-Inch Outdoor Ceiling Fan: Damp πŸƒ Rated Blades, Bronze Exterior – Perfect for Outdoor Spaces! by Sarah Anderson

Be patient while installing. The end result is worth it

Installed to replace an aging porch fan. While this can be good value for money, installation is a hassle. The knives must be screwed to the brackets. Screws and lock washers are small. The blade assembly must then be installed on the body while hanging in place. It would be easier if I worked for Cirque du Soleil. You try to hold the blade assembly by slipping a rubber silencer between them when firing the bolt. I used super glue to secure it in place. A magnetic Phillips screwdriver would be a life saver. I need two more fans. Just like you, I read reviews in search of the best product. This is an update to my original review. I support everything I said before. BUT. I decided to order two more...because I was familiar with the first, the next two were a walk in the park install. Several features of this fan stand out. First, they are very quiet. Two. The housing at the top of the engine is durable. no place for mud smear and other animals. So yes, I recommend this product. I was asked if it could be flush mounted. The answer is no. You must use at least the short pole provided. For flush mounting, you must screw the housing to the ceiling panel. This is not intended. Hanging 3 inches from an 8 foot ceiling still gives plenty of headroom. Hope that helps
