Review on 🚚 Leader Accessories Xtreme Guard 5 Layers Truck Car Cover: Waterproof & Breathable Indoor/Outdoor Protection for Trucks up to 249 by Jim Shirodkar

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Lasts about a year in bright sunshine

1. You need to cut a hole in the cover for a fixed antenna but they provide reinforcement to keep the hole from tearing. BUT the glue on the reinforcement doesn't work at all. It will fall off in a few days. I hand sewed the fitting on and it works great although it's a bit tricky. 2. My truck has a satellite antenna on the roof. This will eventually wear through the fabric. To counter this, I took a storage bag (which I never use) and cut out a 12" x 12" piece to reinforce the antenna area. This one also has to be hand stitched (I tried spray glue the first time but I think this prematurely aged the material and was still tearing after about 12 months). This is my third cover; the first was three tier and didn't impress me. It took about six months but I have to say the company honored their warranty and after I sent them a photo of the broken sail antenna they were happy to send me a replacement free of charge. Even this 5 ply material gets a bit brittle/dry and may crack after a year in the Tennessee sun, but it's cheaper than building a garage, very soft and won't scratch paint.4. The lid is NOT WATERPROOF. The water will pass; the car gets wet. Because of this, I wouldn't leave the lid open indefinitely (like weeks). Excellent protection against UV and heat damage.
