So I wanted to try the projector because I needed a bigger screen to play xBox and I was considering buying a projector so I could move my rig and use any screen size I wanted. Happy to say it was a great investment! I had many concerns about using a projector instead of a regular TV, but when I tried it I was very happy with the results. Input lag when gaming is very minimal, almost as good as on a TV, screen quality is very crisp, especially when in sufficient darkness (I put it in my basement, which means it's always dark there, so it's always like that in low light) and finally it's super portable, small and light which means I can take my rig with me anywhere and set it up the way I want without the need for a giant TV. I only complain about small niche things that don't bother me at all, the remote control is decent quality and sometimes it takes a couple of clicks to turn it on. The HDMI input and sound quality, while impressive for a device, isn't surprising, but I have an external speaker that I can connect so it's not a big deal. Overall this is a great product that has really helped me change my setup for the better, it is very simple, easy and effective and any positives easily outweigh the negatives!
