Review on ๐Ÿซ Chocolate Queen/King Home Details Dust Ruffle Bed Skirt by Cristina Zane

Wouldn't recommend for a king size bed

Quality is good although I was expecting more cotton. Iron before heating on low. It wanted to pop out on one side before I spread it all over the bed, but it wasn't that hard to put on. I thought I read the drop was 12 but the pack says 14 which is way too much for my adjustable queen bed (head and foot). Luckily I bought 30 upholstery pins from Joanne and ended up using 22 of them. I wanted to tuck the top elastic higher so the ruffle doesn't drag across the floor. Not visible in the photo, but on the headboard (where there is no ruffle) there is an elastic band about 2.5 cm wide, but 2 elastic bands go through the ruffle. No part of the ruffle goes to the head of the bed and stretches to a queen size, the ruffle is smaller than pictured. I can't imagine him customizing the king to look good. Back to the needles, I had to work hard to secure the ruffles well while raising and lowering my head and leg. So yes, it might work on an adjustable bed, but it doesn't look great if you have nothing to hide there. I think that's why when you buy beds you see that they come with everything tucked under the mattress. With today's very deep mattresses, the quilts barely cover the mattress and rarely meet where the waves begin.

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Not the best
