Review on ๐Ÿ”† IJDMTOY Universal LED Daytime Running Light Controller: Effortless ON/OFF Automation by Gregory Shin

Make sure you connect the blue wire to a switchable fuse or AC relay.

I am having trouble with this DRL module and have contacted support for suggestions. It looks like the entire support team is copying and pasting the same answer no matter what issues you're having. I have a Cadillac ATS and OEM daytime running lights that I bought from GM. When I followed the instructions to plug in the module, the lights randomly came on for 15 seconds and then went off when the car was turned off. Sometimes when I parked the car the light would stay on for like 15 seconds and then go off, but other times the light would just go off. Sometimes I would start the car and the DRLs would come on for 15-20 seconds and then turn off. The blue wire should only be connected if the bulbs do not turn on when connected to the battery. This module will not detect when the engine is running unless the blue wire is connected to a switchable fuse or relay in the engine compartment. After connecting the blue wire, the module behaves as expected. If the white wire is connected to either your headlights or parking lights, the DRLs will dim when the headlights or parking lights are on, otherwise they will shine at full brightness day and night. I didn't connect the yellow or green wire because I don't need those extra features. If you decide to purchase this module, be sure to follow the instructions and also connect the blue wire to a switched power supply to ensure the module is behaving properly. When contacting support, they just copy and paste the same answer, so don't even bother.
