Review on 🔴 WD 2TB My Passport Portable External Hard Drive HDD - USB 3.0, USB 2.0 Compatible (Red) by Jeff Zamora

Arrived in unopened/undamaged packaging with no cosmetic damage. The drive came preformatted as NTFS and had MAC and WINDOWS installers. I ran the included installer and then the WD Full Diagnostics before booting the drive. The drive stopped working after less than 10 hours of backup and is no longer mounted (or unmounted) on any of my systems (WIN7, WIN10, MACOS). The WD software cannot "repair" or mount the drive, which means I can no longer use it. And now it's making that annoying clicking noise that others have reported. I've been using WD drives, both internal and external, for over 20 years without incident or failure. This is a disappointment and will be rated accordingly.
