Review on Revitalize and Renew Dingy Stained Grout with Rejuvenate White Grout Restorer Marker Pens - 2 Units Pack by Gustavo Mathew

I bought this to refresh the look of the grout on my kitchen counter which hasn't changed since the house was built almost 40 years ago, well before I moved in. Now that I am preparing to sell and am unable to rip it all out with stains that bleach pencils just can't fix in many areas of this joint, something was needed and I thought this product would be it enough. It worked to an extent as you can see in the photo I attached to my review. However, DO NOT accidentally or intentionally splash water on the area where you are using it, even after 24 hours, otherwise your hard work with the easy-to-wear/split tip will be in vain as it will peel off immediately. The problem of tip abrasion is exacerbated when you use the product where there are deep crevices. You need to press the tip firmly against the surface - a light touch will prevent liquid from spilling no matter what angle you hold the pen. in. Given my experience of kitchen countertops with the occasional water splash, I would suggest finding another product for those hoping to use it in the bathroom. When it comes to flooring, there are probably better options out there and in my opinion you'll be happier looking for them rather than wasting money on a product that offers poor quality at best. Cap for 2 minutes, no need to shake for so long, it doesn't add much to the consistency or improve application more than just shaking it vigorously and quickly for a minute to ensure it's thoroughly mixed. My kitchen tables make up a relatively small portion of the 934 square feet. foot but I needed 2 pins for a very acceptable end result. I'll end up going to one of the big local hardware stores to buy a similar product for a "last minute" touch up before showing it to a real estate agent - just can't believe it will last, let alone, in my usual kitchen cleaning routine because surprise potential buyers when things wear out/wash out so easily.
