It's definitely not stainless steel, but polished aluminum. pretty easy with just two fingers and not really heavy enough to hold money at the bottom of your pocket unless you're carrying quite a bit of cash around. They will keep the money in one place but it worries me when I buy something and it's not what it says on the listing.
