Not a bad headset. I had a pair of Logitech H390s, but the mic kept breaking. This isn't a huge blow to the H390 as they were very good headphones for music and Skype and both lasted over a year. I thought to try this. Compared to H390:* Fit and comfort. The H390's cups are slightly larger, which is nice, but the material is a bit colder and less comfortable than the LX-6000. There are differences, but in general they are about the same. I wear Large for headgear and both fit my head well.* Direction (?): The LX-6000 allows you to wear the headphones with the headband on either side, but the H390 only allows you to wear it on the left side. Problem? To use? It doesn't make a huge difference to me, but the flexibility is worth noting.* Controllers: Both have an attachable controller that clips to a shirt for quick access. The LX-6000 is a bit bulkier, I leave the controller on the table. Both have a mute button, which would be handy for a conference call so nobody has to hear me typing or sniffing. The LX-6000 has a large button with a phone icon. The manual doesn't say what it is so I'll test to find out. The weird thing is that if we look at the bottom of the clamp (where the hole is) the +/- rocker is upside down. You press the bottom of the rocker to increase the volume and the top to decrease it. Yes, that seems to be a bug. Problem? Not really, but it certainly seems secondary. * More Features: Both are plug-and-play and require no software installation. Both have the same cable length from the phones to the controller and from the controller to the USB port. The H390 is thicker from the controller to the USB port. * Tone: Very disappointing. This appears to be an afterthought with the LX-6000. H390 gains the upper hand; LX-6000 is quite sufficient. The H390 reproduces music much more fully with balanced highs, lows and mids. I think the H390's drivers are a little farther from the ear, and that distance really made a big difference when I was listening to chamber rock, hip-hop, and soul. The LX-6000 drivers feel relatively close, just above the ear. All frequencies are there, but actually the LX-6000 hardly gets along with me. With the H390, the sound is much clearer, deeper and fuller. If I hadn't had a comparison, I would have gotten along with the LX-6000. I'll get used to the LX-6000 and really, it's fine. Simply good.
