If you have thick, curly hair that is making it difficult for you to sleep, do yourself a favor and order a flat iron as soon as possible. I've been using CHI for over 10 years and converted. This straightener cut my styling time in half and left my hair silky smooth. I have very thick hair and only had to put it on a low/medium setting. The only downside is that it will be too wide to use for curling like I do with my CHI. Also comes with a nice case and I like the cord that doesn't get tangled.
