I use this as a portable workbench in my garage that I can wheel into my driveway when I need more space. These wheels glide fairly easily even when locked into a slick concrete garage floor, and the brakes will often kick in on their own if the bench wobbles too much (e.g. sanding, filing, etc.). They roll well at least given the weight of my bench and everything on it.
