However, the first thing I did when trying to take it apart was cut my finger on a VERY SHARP metal edge that was covered in a plastic gasket. The kids couldn't take the full 3 minutes of shaking and the serving size is VERY SMALL - 1/4 cup. At 3 minutes I had to open, stir, shake another minute or two, open, stir, shake another minute. it wasn't very efficient. And since you've squeezed 1/4 cup into that SMALL space, trying to stir it ends up being pretty messy. At the end we still felt like half of our ice cream was spilled. This is good news, but there has to be a better way.
