Review on Canon EF-S 15-85mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM UD Lens: High-Quality Standard Zoom for Canon DSLR Cameras by Aayushi Srivastva ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

A good product, but having its own defects.

I bought for a Canon 550D camera as a universal lens instead of a whale Canon 18-55. I got what I wanted, and a wide angle and zoom, almost twice as large as that of a whale. The focusing speed and sharpness itself do not differ from the whale Canon 18-55, in fact, more than 700 dollars only for a greater difference in focal lengths. Oh yes, the motor is still not buzzing. On the other hand, there are no cheaper lenses with such characteristics. Since I knew all this before the purchase, I can say that I am satisfied with the purchase.

Pros
  • Workmanship, range of focal lengths, very solid appearance.
Cons
  • Very heavy and quite big. Previously, a camera with a whale 18-55 + portrait + charger was placed in the National Geographic NG 2343 bag. Now there is no place for the charger and the portrait lens. Under the weight of the lens, the camera hangs forward hanging on the neck. Rather, not a drawback, but a fee for heavy (probably high-quality) glass. Fragile girls must try before buying - suddenly it seems too hard.
