Review on Computer chair Everprof Lotus S6 gaming, upholstery: imitation leather, color: black/white by Aneta Krzyszto ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good value for money, I recommend it.

Overall, I'm happy with the chair, but not impressed. The fifth point and the lower back are not bad so warm, maybe the fact is that outside the window at 30 degrees. Or is it so out of habit after a fabric chair. And the armrests are not like in the photo and in the reviews, but they are comfortable. If you put the narrow part towards the back. Otherwise, the claims are only to materials and assembly. After a couple of days everything will be forgotten. The assembly itself is quite easy, albeit a long one, 40 minutes slowly. I must say right away that you can assemble it as is, and it will stand, but I bought far from the cheapest chair, so I will find fault. 1. The key for fasteners in the kit is very inconvenient. It would be nice to do it the other way around. I took my tools. 2. There are only 8 washers in the kit, although for good there should be at least 12, judging by the holes. Added mine. 3. Screws - in terms of softness, this is aluminum. Several hats were wrinkled, one was completely unsuitable for salad, although it was not tightly twisted. Taking into account the fact that the chair is recommended to be tightened every 3 months, this is a significant minus. What will happen to them in a year? 4. The screws that hold the top of the armrests are too long. If they are fully tightened, then the screws can be felt from above, and if weakly, the armrest platform dangles. Solution: tall washers/cut off excess/other short screws. Or try not to pay attention when you lean on them with your elbow. 5. They spared the screws and holes for attaching plastic parts that cover the backrest mechanism. They dangle a little around the axis of the single holding screw and move away if they are touched. In general, it doesn’t affect anything, because they just exist, and you don’t even touch them. Not solvable (glue does not count). Instead of screws under the armrests 6x16, put 6x12, at least 4 more washers and their material is stronger, several holes on the plate and screws for it, and you wouldn’t have to do dances with a tambourine. Bottom line: the chair is good, flaws during assembly - these are all unpleasant, inconspicuous little things, but you know that something is wrong ! If you do not remember this, then everything is super.

Pros
  • - Comfortable chair, with my 180cm and 84kg and strong physique fit almost perfectly. - Surprisingly nice eco-leather. - A rigid frame, but at the same time, rigidity is not felt by the back, I would say the chair itself is of medium rigidity, the golden mean. - In addition to rocking, there is an adjustment of the backrest tilt and the height of the armrests (only the height! - this is a minus). The armrests can be made wider/narrower with screws. - The lower position of the armrests fully give free rein to the elbows. Height is also more than enough. - Comfortable pillow under the head (didn't understand the material, some synthetic fibers for the campaign) and under the lower back (foam rubber with memory effect). - Metal cross. - Throwing back a little more back, you can even take a nap, really very comfortable. - The armchair confidently supports the posture, and the back does not fall apart like in a sofa, a very nice bonus, since recently I almost lay half-side on the old armchair, this will not work out here.
Cons
  • - The main drawback: the armrests came in a different shape in the form of coffins or sarcophagi, which are only adjustable in height. I looked at the reviews and videos, now everyone has such a campaign. Sadness. However, they are pleasant and moderately soft. - A small angle of the swing mechanism, as the gas lift itself is not mounted in the center of the seat, but in the back + it is harsh even in the weakest position. Swing here almost does not work, so, slightly deviate. - The back should be carefully lowered and raised, you have to get used to it, the first time with a similar mechanism. - My hips are almost right next to the support parts of the seat, which are quite stiff. In general, it’s comfortable, after sitting for a couple of hours you get used to it and even like it, but you won’t be able to collapse your legs in the chair. Maybe that's even a plus. - The armchair almost does not breathe, at least now in the summer. Perhaps because I used to sit only on fabric ones, I'm not used to it. Slightly sweating hips inside and lower back in the area of the pads. I'm in shorts. Consequently, the body heats up, sweats a little, and moisture + temperature + leatherette = not good, and the 5th point is preet. Maybe it's only in the summer. - The chair is quite high, although one of the lowest in the line. The legs at the knees at 90 degrees become already in the lowest position, although I am not short. - When you sit, there is a slight feeling that the chair is tilted to the left side, although I measured it with a tape measure - everything is ok. Maybe it's just me and my posture. But there is a slight backlash to the left and right if you try to twitch a lot. - The parts are not of the best quality. - During assembly, unpleasant emotions often arose in the form of mind-blowing perplexed surprise at the design ideas (in the comments). I had to "collectively farm" my materials for improvement. - The kit does not include plugs for the holes intended for bolts. Taken from an old chair. - Some elements with minor, almost imperceptible defects: abrasions on the plastic, on the skin (well, at least in hidden places), there is a scratch on the armrest.
