Review on 🐠 FREESEA Submersible Aquarium Heater: 50W/75W/100W with LED Temperature Display by Andrea Ellis

This heater had been plugged in for less than two weeks when I walked past it this morning and heard howling noises from the room. After pulling some items out of the tank, I found that it was a brand new heater. Please watch the attached video. You will notice that the sounds will start as soon as the heater registers the temperature (stops flashing). I turn it off and on again and the same thing happens. Also, no, my tetras tank is not kept at 79 degrees. The first problem I noticed with the heating was that it was off by 7-10 degrees! In order to bring the water temperature in the aquarium to 75, I first had to set the thermostat to 85. Two days later I had to drop the temperature to 81 to keep it at 74. The booklet stated that the heating should be within 1.8 degrees. .but it wasn't. I kept an eye on an old-fashioned mercury thermometer to make sure the aquarium was stable. After dropping to 81 degrees on Day 2, it stabilized at 74. As other reviewers have pointed out, there's also a crack behind the device. This one isn't really any bigger than most heaters I've used, but because the heater is oval, wider than tubular heaters, and can swing back and forth on suction cups in the middle. knots (rather than at opposite corners to stabilize it); I see some people having terrible accidents with it. I would not recommend a heater of this style with smaller, shy/hiding or fancy finned species (like males) as I would be concerned that fish would swim behind the device and be trapped or crushed by the swaying motion secured in the centre could become . creates from side to side. A picture of it was also included. You can see my pinky slide easily behind the block without tipping.
