My Subaru requires a 14mm spark plug boot and these are not easy to find. 9/16 is close but has a low risk of rounding, as do 12-point sockets. A spark plug can fall out of a 14mm deep well (in the valve cover of a Subaru it's not interesting to get it out). This is my first magnetic spark plug and I want my others to be magnetic, just a much nicer feel when the spark plug turns on. The quality seems slightly better than the 5/8 from my Craftsman starter kit (purchased in the early 2000's). This outlet only appears to have a 1 year warranty, but I have no intention of abusing it and it's relatively cheap when it needs to be replaced. The guarantee is the reason for the downgrading to 4 stars. The socket fits snugly onto the plug as expected and the magnet easily holds the weight of the plug. Overall I would recommend this to anyone who needs a 14mm spark plug head.
