Great item under $20. I needed to buy something quickly after being away from home for several months. I wanted something cheap made of stainless steel. Seeing this in different colors and in glass I liked the idea of having a fun color but also being able to see through for cleaning. It was a good call as there is well water where I lived so the water can be hard at times and quickly turn white. I know where to rub (with a soft sponge) as soon as it happens. I also boil it half in water and half in vinegar once a week and let it sit overnight according to the care instructions. This is a quick cook. Not designed to maintain water temperature. I have a good quality stainless steel kettle at home which has always worked well but also doesn't keep the water hot after boiling. Also, I never felt like I could properly clean it inside. I'm not sure if there's any benefit to paying more money for a home kettle. I would only do this next time if the kettle had a feature that allowed the water to stay hot after it was turned off. Positive aspects - up to $20, glass, you can choose the color. A minus point - for the manufacturer: Please exchange two knobs for one handle. There's no point in having a button closer to the handle that turns the power on and off, and the smaller button on the handle opens the lid. It's more natural to grab with one hand and press the big button to open the lid with the same hand where your thumb can actually reach the button. That is illogical.
