Review on NexiGo NG17FGQ-2 Portable FreeSync Compatible Speakers - IPS with HDMI by David Baker

This monitor worked right out of the box and connected to my 15 inch Macbook Pro with a single USB-C cable. The maximum brightness is roughly the same as that of a Macbook, see attached images for range comparison, and fits easily in my laptop bag. I chose this model because of its higher brightness compared to other portable monitors and am pleased that I can easily use it in a brightly lit room. I ran into a small issue where I couldn't change the brightness of the display. It was locked at a brightness level of 2 out of 10. I was able to solve this problem by disabling "High Dynamic Range" in the display menu as shown in the attached image.
