I have fond memories of the small statuette of Saint Christopher that my grandparents placed on the dashboard of their cars. The story of St. Christopher, legend or not, is the story of the protection of the "traveling" Christ child. I also like it as a blessing for my teenagers when they get their driver's license and hit the road. Will be blessed by our parish priest to make it a true sacrament.
