Simple kitchen garbage cans and garbage bags are worthwhile.
Simple human kitchen trash cans and trash bags are worth the extra cost. I've had my kitchen bin for 2.5 years now and the foot pedal still works great. You can actually stuff trash in a bucket and not worry about the bag ripping. Because the bags are of excellent quality and fit snugly in the bin, you don't have to clear out the bin much. I've never ripped a bag.
