Mr. Incompetent House Manager's replacement sign was better than expected

Bought to replace an apartment sign designed by what may be the most incompetent home builder/manager in this town. Instead of spending $25 on sturdy metal signs, Mr. Incompetent printed out 11 x 17 pages, laminated them, and stapled them to 4 x 4 poles dug into the ground. He spent almost $50 on each sign and within the first year his signs became unreadable. The fact that he didn't plant grass in borders that even remotely matched the climate and sun exposure was why he insisted on signage and plant dieback was not due to his lack of gardening skills, poor planning and placement of plants or the fact that he regularly drove his car to the Strip and left it there overnight, and the dogs in our area. After he was fired from building management and sued for various incompetence issues stemming from his failure to follow basic building codes, the apartment set about fixing most of Mr. Incompetent's mistakes, from roofers to clogged drains to use non-galvanized hardware. open staircase. The smallest problems were ignored, but the appearance of our building was still terrible. So I ordered them for one day delivery, received them the same day, went outside and five minutes later attached them to new posts buried in the concrete with simple screws and washers. They are bright, reflective and crisp. And every time Mr. Incompetent drives by the building, I hope he sees the difference doing the right thing actually makesβ€”even the small things.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Long delivery time
