Looks like a sturdy stand for a 1hp polisher. in my garage but there are a few issues with this stand. 1) The package lacked the hardware required for assembly. dimensions other than those indicated in the instructions. According to the instructions, all fasteners were supposed to be SAE, but in fact some of the fasteners were metric, not SAE, and two metric nuts needed for assembly were missing from the packaging. 3) The stand is not stable enough because the legs are too short so the stand wobbles when I use it with my polisher. 4) The height adjustment mechanism is poorly designed, making the stand much less stable the more you stretch your neck. I'll end up keeping this stand so I don't have to disassemble and repackage it, but will put the much smaller grinder on this stand and put the buffer/polisher on the older (and much sturdier) stand he currently has the grinder.
