Not suitable for pearls
I bought these to use as freshwater pearl cages. However, the hole in the bottom of the cage is too big and the bead slips through. Also, if you use them with a bead or bead, if you intend to use the bead or bead itself, these are not the cells you want. The metal part is too close together and you cannot see the bead/bead at all. There may be other ways to use them, but they didn't work for my purpose.
