I wished I had got a smaller size. I bought the 3x/4x and it was really big. I didn't mind because I wanted the extra room around my waist, as a previous reviewer indicated. However, I could've gotten the 2x and still had the extra room. My regular dress size is 18 and 1x. It's really a beautiful dress and it stood out. The part under my arms probably should've been taken in a bit but didn't have time. It length was right above my ankles.
