Decent alternative to full on key fob replacement
While overall I like this product as a cheaper alternative to a new key FOB when the plastic housing on my original was damaged. However, as others have mentioned it does not include screws (they must assume you will reuse your old ones as I had to) and it does not include the pictured key ring.Overall seems to be a good replacement case, but screws and a key ring would have been helpful.
- This item is just the case meaning it will not come with an electronic circuit board, transponder chip or battery. You will have to transfer over your existing electronics before this will operate. It is intended to repair or renew your existing part to bring it back to like new in appearance.
- The price of the replacement shell case may not be significantly cheaper than purchasing a new key fob altogether
