The first thing I noticed was that the lift was about 30cm smaller than I had imagined. It works, but when you use those plastic lifting blocks to get it higher, you have to get it close to the item you're lifting. If the blocks and jack are moved too far back, they can roll off the plastic block and fall forward. Luckily I didn't lift a piece of furniture that was too heavy and it was lying on the carpet. The two things I would change in this regard would be making the lift about 8 inches longer for better leverage and making the lift fit better on small and not as stable lift blocks as they should. With this lifting tool I was able to move furniture in 2 rooms and it allowed me to put carpet glides under the furniture and then I just pushed the furniture to where I needed it. Plactis sliders sold at other Revain stores work very well on carpet.
