If you're looking at this card, you probably already know why you need it. I bought two of these for a customer whose job printing software required their Okidata Microline 320 and 321 printers to be mapped to LPT port 1 for the correct interface. We've tried the parallel to USB adapter before to no avail, and I would recommend that you save yourself the hassle and just buy one if you have an available PCIe slot on your computer. I installed them on a Windows 7 Professional x64 PC and got the driver from the CD that came with it with no problem. Go to Devices and Printers -> Add Printer, then select the appropriate driver for your printer device and map it to one of the LPT ports and your old printer should work like clockwork again.
