The time is determined with difficulty

Base installed without vacuum then vacuum connected. major achievements. tried retarding valves and cold start retarding ports. I just couldn't turn it on. The local shop recommended using only mechanical feed as mechanical plus vacuum equaled 100 degrees from base and I was afraid to go over 3600 when that much was happening so quickly.
