As others have said, watch the install video for help. It's very simple and a lot easier than the booklet that comes with it. My only advice though is that it may be obvious to some that the assembly is done internally, but make sure you pre-drill a pilot hole for the mounting screws. If you try to pierce the door with a flat mounting screw, it will snap and you may end up with a block half stuck in the door. (Luckily the woman made one first before I could help her fix it.) The app is a bit odd to navigate. Auto lock/unlock only works within a certain range and you have to enter a random code once before you can change it to your liking. I haven't tried the one-time code feature yet. The timer lock works but my dog keeps trying to attack the door after I leave so we turned it off. But for the price I would definitely recommend it.
