Review on πŸͺ‘ Wooden Table & 4 Chairs Set with Wainscoting Detail, Pastel, Ideal Gift for Kids Age 3-8 by KidKraft Nantucket by Chelsea Hayes

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Starts great, but wears out pretty quickly.

Please note that this rating is not based on the first purchase, but on information after longer use. So I'm talking about durability. Appearance: very nice set. The colors shown in the picture look a little darker than ours but still look great. In life more light pastel color. As you can see, it has a classic "Nantucket" look. The only drawback are the relatively sharp corners. Assembly: Assembly is very easy and only takes a few minutes, an Allen key and simple screws. No special tools are required. Quality: - This is where things start to deteriorate a bit and this is the reason for my 3 stars. After a short time, the screws begin to loosen and the chairs wobble a little. It's a minor annoyance, not a major problem as long as you pay attention to the screws and hold onto them. We almost lost one, which is totally gone. - Ready. Ah, this is the end. Honestly, this is the worst part of the product. While the chairs are in pretty good condition, the table top is terrible at the moment. Children use normal children's washable felt tip pens, but for some reason it seems to me that this surface is a bit porous and they don't come out completely. I have tried rubbing alcohol, nail polish remover and other cleaning products but there are traces of children's pencils on the table. Also, the laminate/paint is very thin and peels off fairly easily. Kids play well on it, no crazy bumps or sharp objects, and yet there are a number of spots where the white laminate has simply ripped off revealing the brown board underneath. All in all a great product, if a bit pricey given its durability and problems with laminate floors. If I had to do it again I would opt for a cheaper plastic chair and table set that might be easier to clean, no screws to worry about and easier to move.
