I am very happy with my experience purchasing this tablet. I bought it as a home entertainment device and it works great for that purpose. Movies, books, audiobooks, mobile games, anything that works like any other tablet. Of course, I've only had the device for about a week, but the device is already ready to go. Just connect your Google account and you're done. Although designed for children, it is a great toy for moms. The sound is surprisingly good, but the volume seems dependent on the app, so sharing Netflix can be difficult. But if you're downloading movies or TV shows for your commute, it's also a great travel companion. Some downsides that I noticed in the first week are small touchscreen accuracy issues. This is only a problem for fine motor skills etc., but it can also be disruptive. Also, the aspect ratio tends to create weird digitized artifacts in some mobile apps. It requires a subtle eye, but it's just something to watch out for. Overall, I didn't think these cons outweighed the benefits of an affordable and efficient home tablet. Pros: price, screen size, setup speed, protection. Cons: touchscreen sensitivity, aspect ratio.
