DO NOT BUY THESE! I never write negative reviews (usually it's not worth my time) but in this case I feel it's necessary to warn people before buying for safety reasons. Driving home after 3 days in Big Bear, California, I kept hitting myself for "getting paid" to buy these "chains" (they shouldn't even be called chains). They're difficult to install, need adjusting every few miles (unless you want them to damage and damage your car), and they wear out (break) very quickly. I was thankful it only snowed one day during my vacation so I didn't need chains after the first day. If I needed chains more than once, I would have to buy new "real" chains. I rode them less than 10 miles before they started tearing (and that was after stopping every few miles to adjust them). I wanted to have a fun vacation with my son and these "chains" added frustration and stress to a fun trip. . I think he learned his lesson because he saw the disappointment, he saw the blood (I cut myself trying to fix those stupid things) and he saw the pieces of the "chain" that stayed on the ground. Don't trust those TERRIBLE "chains" for your safety. Seriously, buy real (steel) chains. It's not even worth it if someone gives them to you.
