I like the idea of this filter function. The basket catches food debris well and "the perforated handle allows water to flow down without clogging and works well for the most part. The problem I see is that the flexible rod is over the edges of the basket and when you put dishes and other things in the sink it pushes the leg down in the middle. I have to pull the leg back up and this has caused the material of the leg to break within the first week I've had it. be higher to allow excess water to drain. When the stem is pushed into the basket, the color isn't as effective, and the large holes at the top of the stem allow larger food particles to pass through. Too bad that stem moves the same way.
