I was very pleased with this chair when I first received it. It's not the most comfortable and ergonomic, but that's enough for me. It looks great and is quite heavy with a solid construction. Unfortunately, after less than 2 months of using this chair, the hydraulics broke. The chair cannot support my weight (155 lbs) so it can only be used in the lowest position. It also appears when I get up from my chair. In some cases, this leads to it hitting my desk and revealing another downside, which is that the wood surfaces chip easily. Maybe it's just a defect, but it's handy that it broke right after the return period had expired. UPDATE: I was able to determine that the problem was that the strut connecting the chair to the hydraulic strut wasn't separating them far enough. I was able to attach it with three stacks of washers placed between the brace and the chair for each screw.
