I had a downhill racing bike accident which resulted in a severe rash. My thigh/thigh area in particular was torn. I dreaded the long healing process, which involved applying ointments, removing bandages before showering, changing bandages regularly, allowing them to air dry, and leaving sores on my clothes and sheets at night. it's the worst. A friend I was driving with when I was in an accident recommended I try these CrashPads. So I washed the wound very well (oops!) and then put the largest CrashPads bandage on top of it (I could use an even bigger bandage - maybe they'll make a bigger size in the future). Then I just ignored my street rash for a week or so. It was the easiest street rash recovery I've ever had - it healed faster which resulted in less scarring and the best part is I didn't have to do anything to attend to it while it healed. Unfortunately, as an avid cyclist and mountain biker, I get road rashes more often than I would like. These are now my bandages!
