Description of 🩹 CrashPads® Adhesive Bandages: Versatile Road Rash Dressing for Cuts, Scrapes, and Burns - 14pcs Assorted Sizes

CrashPads are the ultimate bandage for road rash or any skin abrasion. Created for extreme athletes, we've seen and healed it all. Sterile adhesive CrashPads create a protective barrier over a large area which allows skin to heal protected for up to 5 days per application. CrashPads seal out water, dirt and germs so wounds can heal uninterrupted by scabbing, picking and bleeding. Ultra-thin and flexible hydrocolloid technology soothes and protects wounds while medical grade adhesive keeps the bandage firmly in place. Abrasions treated with CrashPads heal significantly faster than wounds treated with either traditional bandaging or air-drying methods.

Wonderful! It's worth it!

My husband and I were in a motorcycle accident. It was wonderful! Not only did our rash heal without us having to play with them for days, but they healed and looked amazing after 4 days of taking them off! Shower with them every day and they stayed in place!

Cons
  • Good but not great

Great for street rash

Love them for road rash, keeps my sores from seeping into my clothes and relieves the pain of clothes rubbing on the sore. Highly recommended. I think it makes more sense to have more medium and large sizes, I don't see the point in the smaller sizes. They are so small that they are practically useless for cycling-related injuries. I also think rectangular shapes, say 3 x 5 inches, would be more useful than squares?

  • Everything is great!

This is the best bandage you could ever put on, raspberries and stitches

Love took a lot of skin off my calf and it was hard to get it too and then I got 10 stitches and this pack was just right that i needed it to cover everything it was protecting and i still use them, thanks for their invention, love them, they are a great bandage for very very hard to reach places for individuals . I'm here by myself and I love how I was able to put it on without anyone's help. I would recommend it to anyone with bruises or what is called a crimson injury because it is just…

Wonderful! As a cyclist it's a game changer

I had a downhill racing bike accident which resulted in a severe rash. My thigh/thigh area in particular was torn. I dreaded the long healing process, which involved applying ointments, removing bandages before showering, changing bandages regularly, allowing them to air dry, and leaving sores on my clothes and sheets at night. it's the worst. A friend I was driving with when I was in an accident recommended I try these CrashPads. So I washed the wound very well (oops!) and then put the largest

I wish I had used them earlier in the treatment process!

I'm not a mountain biker and not very athletic at all. However, I got a bad scratch/rash on the road while chasing my little nephew. I tried letting it heal "old school" for about a week. I cleaned it, used Neosporin and let it "breathe". It tingled a little but didn't seem to heal. I came across crash pads and they are a game changer in healing. I was told to soak the scratches so the crusts soften and I can peel them off before bonding. I'm sure it would have been better, but I didn't have…

Doesn't work anywhere near well

After reading all the reviews I decided to spend the money on it hoping to be rewarded with a hassle free ride after an accident (cycling). nope Tried her twice for not terrible road rashes on leg. On day 1, 2 small bandages made about half of my journey - 1.5 hours - and then came off during the journey. On the second day they lasted about 15 minutes. Both days were mid 70's, not very muggy, and I drove early in the morning. I applied it to clean and dry skin and on the second day I even…

Fast Healing, Instant Pain Relief!

We have a large group of teenagers who regularly visit our home with our children. Regularly someone has a scratch/scratch/broken bone/etc. as a result of teens' decision making and skateboards, bikes, skis, etc. A friend told me about CrashPads (they are used by his high school mountain bike team) and recommended we have some on hand in case of the next fall or crash . I ordered a box and sure enough, the day after they arrived, an 18 year old boy was complaining of pain after a nasty fall off

Pros
  • First Aid

  • There are deficiencies

Read me. Wound care is difficult.

Update May 21, 2020: 1. The customer service for this company is outstanding. As you can see they left some comments and reached out.2. Having several of these in the home of an elementary school student is a great idea. My son scraped his knees and this was the best bandage for such a scenario. After treating the wound, he immediately felt better when an emergency cushion was applied.3. I would like to be able to order packages in different sizes. Otherwise I have 50 small bandages. Original…

great for road rashes and cuts, not ideal for every wound

I fell off my mountain bike just before going to Whistler. I wear bulletproof vests in Whistler. and it's no fun putting pads on sticky sores so I decided to try them out since bandages sticking to big open wounds didn't sound like a fun trip to Canada. So. The one on my shoulder lasted the whole trip and the wound healed beautifully. The ones on my lap stayed for days. I expected them to be difficult to cover and I didn't want them seeping into my knee pads. These bandages held up much better…
