I've been waking up in the middle of the night for weeks. I struggled with my nasal passages being so dry and congested that I had to wake up to clear my nose. In the winter months, the heater dried the air. Now in the warm season, the fan and air conditioning do the same. The first night I started using the humidifier showed a slight improvement in my dryness and got me mostly uninterrupted sleep. Now on the 3rd night I had no sleep breaks at all. My nasal passages remained free. I also reduced the frequency of waking up with headaches and my eye stopped twitching (due to my extreme sleep deprivation). I keep the device on my bedside table and fill the device's tank 2 times a day. I run it at max power from about 2pm when I get home from work and it lasts until 9am when I fill up the tank before bed. When I wake up, 1/3 of the water is still in the tank. This humidifier is very easy to set up. Simply fill in water and press the button. An assembly is not required. It has 4 settings that produce high/low "mist" volume with different blue LED lighting states. The blue LED backlight is very bright but can be used during a darkened nap. I use Heavy Fog/Darkness mode #4 during a full night's rest. The power/touch control button is backlit with a very bright blue light and may be annoying for people who need total darkness while they sleep. I noticed on the first night that it was too bright and I had to move the device. I was able to turn the device so that the blue light was directed away from me and no longer distracted me. I really like this humidifier and hope it lasts a long time. It's only been a week and I plan on using it consistently for the foreseeable future. If it breaks, I'll buy a new one.
