This container first arrived leaking but in a plastic sleeve. I flushed the residue out of the bottle and used it the first night and the next few nights. It says you don't have to rinse but I should have and definitely recommend you do it even if you don't but your skin will feel softer and more beautiful if you do. My skin was too sticky to leave and I was afraid it would get on my silk pillowcases. The bottle says put some of the product on a cotton pad and wipe to remove makeup. I was afraid of rubbing my sensitive eyes too hard so not all of the eye makeup came off, but almost everything else did. I use waterproof mascara, although I probably shouldn't, but my eyes are very watery and I don't want raccoon eyes. It's not easy to remove, so I usually start with a small amount of baby oil around my eyes and then move on to makeup removers. It's like water, not oil or cream. The product is ok but for the price it must be amazing! I have 2 or 3 other removers that sell for a fraction of the price of this one and seem to do the job well. That's my honest opinion and I wouldn't recommend it.
